Your scalp is made of keratin, the same protein as you are naked skin any balanced healthy diet that is full of vegetables whole grains, nuts and fruits is absolutely essential for showing your skin to be healthy. This all translates to your scalp and hair as well.
Below we have a list of foods that promote hair growth and scalp health, some of them are my very own favorites.
Leafy greens: once something to boost your follicles then leafy green like spinach or lettuce will do the trick they’re also full of iron and promote really strong hair by carrying oxygen that support red blood cells in your body. We also help to produce sebum which moisturizes the scalp, and they contain lots of vitamin A and vitamin C which helps to grow healthy hair.
you can try spinach cooked or you can try it in a salad with olive oil olives lime and vinegar.

Avocados: this powerhouse contains magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin D, potassium and vitamin B6. Let’s not forget the old soul important vitamin E which is an antioxidant, attacking free radicals and relieving stress. Avocados have plenty of fatty acids that helped to building cells in our bodies and produce them to balance out our diet.
Of course you can eat avocados you can actually also apply them to your hair and use them as a conditioner that’s full of pro vitamin B5 to help moisturize and condition hair.
Fish and other meats:
the benefits here are vitamin B12 which is found in dairy products, meat and fish is often used by dietician’s to prevent hair loss. Vitamin B helps to convert food into energy and increases the flow of oxygenated blood to the scalp and hair, this blood flow helps to grow healthy hair. Consider adding some salmon or lean meat to your diet to keep your scalp healthy and to keep your hair follicles bolstering.
