In our DIY hair mask part one we focused on damaged and dry hair, here on Part 2 we are focused on oily hair.

Hair Mask Oily hair

#1 Hair Mask: juice one whole lemon, add one tablespoon of honey, and add 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar. Once you lather this mixture into your hair allow it to sit for a minimum of 20 minutes. You should repeat this twice a month. You will find that this mask will enhance the shine of your hair while simultaneously removing the appearance of oily limp hair. Remember to avoid using package or carton lemon juice and go ahead and squeeze it yourself. If you squeeze it yourself, you guarantee no preservatives involved in your mask. Depending on your hair lemon can be a bleaching agent so make sure that when you count that 20 minutes you keep it accurate.

Hair Mask Oily hair

#2 Hair Mask: use 5 strawberries, 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar, and two tablespoons of jojoba oil and mix them together thoroughly. Be sure to lather this mask into your hair and allow it to sit for a minimum of 15 minutes. This mask can be used four times to five times every month. You’ll find that the strawberries provide a pH balance that will control the production of oil. They are actually also known to help with hair loss and thinning due to the organic acid which strengthens hair.
