How The Ladies Feel About Male Hair Unit
First let’s address what a male hair unit is. Simply put, a male hair unit is a custom made hair unit. It has
been commonly referred to as a “man weave”. It is normally made with human hair with a lace, poly or
silicone base. Which is similar to a man toupee. The men who wear these types of hair extension are
mostly those men who are suffering from thinning hair / hair line or who have experienced hair loss due
to aging or alopecia.
As the years go on and we become better at developing new techniques to make hair extensions look
more and more natural, both men and women have begun to utilize them in their day to day lives. Not
only that, men, women and society as a whole are becoming more indulge in our physical appearances.
In my personal opinion this has a lot to do with social media and the usage of the World Wide Web. We
all want to look and feel our best and what better way to do that other than hair extensions if you
weren’t lucky enough to be born with head full of beautiful, thick tresses.
The male hair unit / man weave has been a game changer for men all over the nation. No different than
what customizing a lace frontal has been for women. We are now able to have more options and
variety when it comes to styling our hair.
How The Ladies Feel About Male Hair Unit
Now the big questions is, how do the ladies feel about the male hair unit? From talking with many
women young and old about the subject matter, there has been a 50/50 consensus. Many women feel
that men should have the right to wear hair extensions if they please. Especially if it makes them feel
good about themselves and helps to higher their self-esteem. While the other half, feels that wearing a
male hair unit can be seen as feminine or too womanly. They have made statements saying they would
not want their spouse to wear one and would prefer not to date a man that does. There was also
statements about feeling tricked or bamboozled after the removal of the male unit.
Personally, I agree with the first half. Just like women, men should be free to wear a male hair unit if
that what makes him feel better about himself and his appearance. What many woman fail to realize is
that male baldness can have a psychologically effect on a man, just the same as a woman. So if this
game changer can help a man feel younger and prouder about himself, then I say more power to you my
brother.
