We have often debated about straight hair extensions and curly hair extensions as far as which are best, everyone loves curly because it’s different, it’s bouncy, it’s lovely, it’s exotic, who doesn’t like to see someone with long 22-to-24-inch curly hair bouncing and swirling in the air. However curly hair has its pluses and minuses as does straight hair, as does hair extensions versus natural hair so we’re going to breakdown once and for all straight bundles versus curly bundles and you can decide the winner.
Straight Bundles Vs Curly Bundles – Straight Hair:
of course, you knew we would start with straight hair. The bottom line is that straight hair is easy to manage, the likelihood of you having any kinking or matting or tangling is far unlikely than most. Straight hair is widely accepted all over the world and of course at work in professional settings and can be a little versatile whether you’re talking about long straight hair or cutting it into a Bob or then clipping it into a Pixie cut. Now what straight hair gives you a versatility and simplicity it takes away in creativity because straight hair can be downright boring, especially when you’re used to wearing straight and body wave for all your life.
Straight hair can be just another Tuesday, and who wakes up on Tuesdays saying I’m so glad it’s Tuesday? I think on a scale of one to ten, when it comes to versatility and simplicity straight hair gets a nine (9). However, when it comes to creativity straight hair only get to Three (3) and if you subtract 3 from 9 you end up with a cool 6. That’s my vote what’s yours?
Straight Bundles Vs Curly Bundles – Curly Hair:
Now on to curly, now let’s be honest ladies, having curly hair is like waking up on a Saturday morning and screaming thank God it’s Saturday. At least it’s like that once it’s done set looking good moist and you’re heading out the door. Unfortunately, before you can get this riveting fantasy curly hair on the Jamaican sands look, you got to do work. This is where you start thinking and fantasizing about straight hair cause curly hair takes work and maintenance. It takes products like Shea butter, mouse, co-washing, and all sorts of other different modalities of rods, curling irons, and I could go on. Add to the fact that curly hair tangles easier and gets caught up in brushes and Combs a lot more than straight hair, honestly it can be a nightmare.
Straight Bundles Vs Curly Bundles – Curly Hair:
And if we were talking about hair extensions specifically when the hair Combs out it’s not like hair that grows from your head which will just sprout another follicle and grow more hair. No no no with hair extensions when the hair Combs out and is in the brush that hair is gone and the more you comb hair out the less hair will be on the track or in the wig and the less wear you will get out of the hair product.
So, when it comes to creativity and that sexy Saturday night curly hair gets a 10 out of 10. However, when it comes to daily maintenance and my nightmare that can be curly hair gets a two out of 10. Subtracting 2 from 10 = 8 which gives curly hair a two-point edge over straight hair. However, pointing all these things out I somehow still think straight hair is a better choice. You’ll get more wear out of it and it’s more versatile. Perhaps what we all need is a straight hair sew-in and a water wave headband wig for the weekends. What’s your vote? that’s mine, until next time girls stay sweet stay glamorous.
