Deciding between human hair or synthetic hair can be a difficult task and believe it or not some people believe that there isn’t much difference. Well, today I’m going to write of both human and synthetic to help you I hope you decide which is best for you.
The first thing people want to know about the differences between synthetic and human hair is which one will last longer? Of course, human hair will always last longer because as it is natural human hair and not a man-made product. Human hair can last for one year, two years, or three years. I have even seen human hair extensions last for over five years. Of course this is all with proper care of washing and conditioning and treating as if it is your own natural hair. Synthetic hair on the other hand can only last for a month or two, in some cases when it’s a cheap synthetic wig it will only last for a couple of weeks.
Which is Better, Human Hair or Synthetic
On the other hand, synthetic wigs are easier to care for because washing them is such a simple task that even a puppy could do it. Simply add a little water and a little shampoo, shake it dry and you’re ready to wear. Focusing on the type of shampoo or adding conditioner or even considering deep conditioning is not necessary for this. It’s not necessary mainly because it would not react to conditioning with any conditioner at all as it won’t last very long anyway, so conditioning and hot oiling would be a complete waste of time, product and money.
When it comes to styling your hair, synthetic hair doesn’t need much styling but must be cared for because it is almost impossible to style them. Using tools like curling irons and hot Combs cannot be used on synthetic hair because synthetic air is normally just plastic material. There are cases where hair is heat friendly but, it’s not very common. Human hair on the other end it can be styled with flat irons as well as blow dryers and for hair dryers.
Which is Better, Human Hair or Synthetic
This is of course because it is natural here and should be treated as such. Since we’re touching on the fact that human hair is natural hair again, it should also be noted that it feels natural and has a very natural texture and bounce. Synthetic hair on the other hand does not feel natural at all, rarely if any bounce at all and running your fingers through synthetic hair will not be a joy or delightful. Depending on the price there are synthetic wigs that do look very natural and have more of a natural feel but once again this is not very common and most synthetic wigs are stiff and feel well, synthetic.
The bottom line is that human hair extensions cost more because they look better and feel more natural. Synthetic hair extensions are an investment of smaller proportion that costs less, needs less maintenance, but will also not last as long or look as good.
